Park Music

 

Eastridge Park Music Ministry is focused on using music as a tool to enhance worship, promote outreach to the community, and provide an opportunity for personal growth both spiritually and musically.

 

 

THE UNITY CHOIR

This is a choir comprised of saints who enjoy singing. High schoolers and adults are welcome. There are no auditions required to be in this choir. The Unity Choir sings each Sunday in the 10:15 AM worship service. They also present special and seasonal programs each year, which may include patriotic presentations, hymn festivals, an Easter musical and Christmas concerts.

THE EASTRIDGE RINGERS

A hand bell choir comprised of individuals who enjoy music. This choir performs monthly in the morning worship services, as well as playing for special seasonal services. Prior experience is not required.
 
The Eastridge Ringers rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Contact Music Director, Jerry Cornish, to join us.
 

 

VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLES

Other ensembles are available for qualified singers and musicians. “Fresh Wind and Fire” is a small ensemble which performs well prepared pieces in the morning worship service about once a month. “Fresh Wind and Fire” has it’s own group of instrumentalists who are integral to the group. New singers and instrumentalists join by audition.
 
Other small duets, trios and groups are formed occasionally. They practice and perform for morning worship services.

THE QUOTING CHOIR

The Quoting Choir is comprised of individuals who value the scriptures enough to dramatize and present passages together. They speak and illustrate the Word of God in unison with inflection and actions. The group performs infrequently and is open to all ages.
